Niki Vanderslice is an accomplished leader with over two decades of experience in Community & Economic Development. Prior to her current role as President & CEO of FCDA, Niki served as the Vice Chairman of the Board since her appointment to the authority in 2016. Her career has included positions with the Technical College System of Georgia, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Georgia EMC and as Downtown Development Director for Valdosta and Douglas, GA. Niki’s impressive background includes degrees from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Georgia Southwestern State University, and a Master’s in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. Niki’s dedication to leadership development is evident through her participation in local, regional, and statewide leadership programs like Leadership Georgia. A Georgia native, Niki is deeply committed to her community, actively participating in multiple boards, including ABAC Foundation Board and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Niki, along with her husband Ed and their daughters, proudly call Fayette County home.

Rosie Matta brings over 30 years of professional experience in business administration, executive leadership support, and organizational operations. Since joining the Fayette County Development Authority (FCDA) in 2018, she has played an integral role in supporting the organization’s mission and continued success. As Director of Operations, Rosie oversees the organization’s daily administrative and financial operations, supports board governance, and helps coordinate key organizational initiatives. With a strong background in organizational management and executive leadership support, she is committed to operational excellence, fostering meaningful relationships, and supporting collaboration among leadership, community partners, and stakeholders. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Rosie has proudly called Fayette County home for nearly two decades. Having raised her three children in the community alongside her husband, she has a personal appreciation for the importance of Fayette County’s continued growth and success. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Rosie enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her four cherished grandchildren. Guided by her strong faith and family values, she approaches both her professional and personal life with integrity, dedication, and a heart for service.

Amanda Fields is the Vice President of Economic Development at the Fayette County Development Authority (FCDA), where she leads strategic initiatives to strengthen Fayette County’s economy and ensure long-term sustainability. In this role, she fosters relationships with existing industries, spearheads workforce development programs, manages the county’s inventory of available sites and buildings, and coordinates statewide economic development projects to align with community goals. With over 20 years of experience in economic development that began at FCDA, she has served in leadership roles at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Coweta County Development Authority, and Electric Cities of Georgia. A Fayetteville native, Amanda is a graduate of Fayette County High School and Clayton State University. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys exercising, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She and her husband, Jeremy, stay busy cheering on their three children—one a talented musician, one an athlete on the baseball field, and one a performer in musical theater and chorus.
