To determine property taxes to be paid on your business, contact the Fayette County Tax Commissioner at 770-461-3652.

You will also be required to pay taxes on sales, and the rate will vary depending on whether a special purpose local option sales tax is in effect. (Call 404-651-8651 for more information)

From wages paid to your employees, you are required to deduct Federal Income Tax, State Income Tax, and F.I.C.A or Social Security Taxes. For a Federal Tax I.D. number, call 404-522-0050 in Atlanta. Your accountant can tell you how much to deduct from each employee.
