South Metro Development Outlook Conference


On February 10, 2009, The Collaborative Firm put on the 7th annual South Metro Development Outlook at Clayton State University’s Student Activity Center in Morrow. Matt Forshee, President & CEO of the Fayette County Development Authority, was asked to present an update of Fayette County’s economic development activities and the county’s current economic climate.

He was joined in his presentations by Tom Weyandt, Director of Comprehensive Planning with the Atlanta Regional Commission, Sharon Gay, Partner with McKenna, Long & Aldridge and Jennifer Fine, Director of the City of East Point’s Economic Development Department.

Matt’s presentation was titled, “The Good, The Bad and The Downright Ugly: A review of Fayette County’s current economic climate and the state of the retail, office and industrial markets.”
