About Us

The Fayette County Development Authority (FCDA) represents four jurisdictions as the economic development agency in Fayette County, Georgia, USA to market the community nationally and internationally, assist businesses with land and building selection, financing, employee recruitment and training, permit and regulatory issues, and provides other development support services. FCDA represented jurisdictions include the cities of Fayetteville, Peachtree City and Tyrone and Fayette County.

Our most important goal is to match the business needs required for your company to be successful with the assets in Fayette County. The decision to invest in a new or expanded operation is never taken lightly. Our objective is to manage all expansion details.

Leaders and Management

The FCDA is lead by a 9 member Board of Directors appointed by the four represented jurisdictions and the Peachtree City Airport Authority. The chairman is Randy Hayes.

The FCDA is managed by President/CEO Matt Forshee.

Accreditation

The FCDA has the designation of Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), one of only 26 economic development organizations in the United States to do so.
