FCDA Newsletter
March 2008

This month, we’re focusing on small businesses in Fayette County.

There’s a common statistic that is often quoted stating that 70% to 80% of the US economy is made up of small businesses. I’d argue that the Fayette County economy is right in line with that statistic.

In this newsletter, you’ll read about a local small business that is expanding, some ways for those same local businesses to come together with the community and “Buy Local”, and Fayette County’s recent designation as an Entrepreneur Friendly Community.

As always, feel free to email me if you have any suggestions for ways we can improve this experience for you. We appreciate the comments you sent from the last newsletter and the great comments we keep receiving on our website.

Thanks for reading.

In looking at other communities’ similar programs, ...
