Amanda Fields

Office Manager

Born in Atlanta, Amanda moved with her family to the booming city of Fayetteville when she was three years old. She attended Fayette County High School and later went on to receive her degree in Marketing and Merchandising from Clayton State University. During her high school years, Amanda worked her way up from a part-time Office Assistant to, upon graduation from high school, a full-time Human Resources Assistant at McRae Communications. She left McRae after the birth of her son and went to work for their accountant, Brown, Nelms & Company. After a year there, Amanda realized that a career in numbers was not for her, and found her “work” home at the Fayette County Development Authority as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO. After three years there, she was given a promotion to Office Manager and remains heavily involved in the community she grew up in and loves.

Amanda is married to an Emergency Medical Technician and Carpenter named Jeremy and has a six year old son, JT, who is the definition of “all boy”. Amanda and family also have an American Bulldog named Molly and live in Newnan.
